Frequently Asked Questions
Q How much will it cost?
You will pay no more than the contract price, unless you decide to make major alterations or additions mid-project. There are no surprise charges.
Q. What about the design?
Sometimes there is an initial small investment required to develop the concept tailored to meet your needs, taste and budget. When the contract is signed, the design fee is deducted from the deposit.
Q.When do we pay?
Greenville Kitchens requires a small deposit when the contract is signed. Moderate payments are made as the project progresses with the balance due upon completion. However, we can be flexible to accommodate each client's particular needs.
Q. How long before our home gets back to normal?
First, each project is planned to minimize disruption to your daily routine. We are very conscientious about meeting the deadlines we set. Once we start a project, we show up on time, day after day, until the project has been completed to your satisfaction and ours. No excuses. As a general rule of thumb, the average kitchen remodeling project takes two to four weeks to plan, and two to four weeks to complete.
Q. Can we use our own subcontractors?
Of course. You are also free to contribute your own labor. For example, maybe you would like to paint and paper yourself. We will do as much or as little as you like. Keep in mind, however, that our experienced staff may save you time and money in the long run.
Q. Is the work guaranteed ?
Absolutely. Greenville Kitchens' warranty covers all aspects of the construction, guaranteeing general work for five years, and structural improvements for ten years.
Q. Do you have references?
We keep an up-to-date customer list and invite you to review our records yourself. If you like, we can even arrange a guided tour of past projects.
Q. Do you have insurance?
Greenville Kitchens carries adequate liability insurance and Workers Compensation, so the home owner may rest easy. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.
Q. What if something goes wrong in the middle of the night during construction?
Greenville Kitchens prides itself on foreseeing and avoiding construction difficulties, but if a problem does arise, we will be there immediately. You can count on it.
